The best way to learn who we are is to read our blog. There we provide a candid look at our company and what we believe in.
Basically though, we started this company in September 2015 to provide people an opportunity to buy unique gifts, body products made with ingredients that won't harm you with chemicals, and other items that will make your soul soar! We are here to help the Body, Soul, and Life! Let's face it, the world is a pretty stressful place and isn't it nice to have somewhere to buy quality products at an affordable price?
We are a small company located in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, near the Natural Bridge. There are two people running it, Robin Thompson and Courtney Thompson. Each possess a unique set of talents that together make for a great partnership.
Robin has a keen interest in self-sustainability, organic agricultural practices, and herbal concoctions. She runs the Serenity Hill Farm where many of the natural resources for Virginia Outpost products originate. In Robin's past lives she has been a USAF Security Forces Officer, Special Agent with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations, University Professor teaching courses in National Security and Intelligence, Real Estate Agent, Mary Kay Salesperson, and general helper for all her husband's AFJROTC events. She has a passion for Leadership and Management and holds a Doctorate of Management in Organizational Leadership. She has done a little bit of everything in her time on this Earth and has enjoyed it all!
Courtney is a talented artist and has a knack for bringing everything she touches up to a higher level. She was brought up in a military family and has enjoyed travelling all over the world. She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a highly sought after degree in Communication Art. Many of the artistic designs brought to you in Virginia Outpost are her creations. Courtney loves designing, whether it be houses, interior spaces, or products for Virginia Outpost, she has an artistic eye that never stops seeing what could be from what once was.
